Rachel Falbo, PhD, LPC-S, LMFT-S
Dr. Falbo provides therapy as support and guidance through a difficult time, so that clients can find joy in their lives again. She believes that people are the expert of their own lives, and her goal is to make therapy as comfortable and collaborative as possible. Problems do not have to become a permanent staple in one’s life. Through therapy, Dr. Falbo believes people can find their happiness again.
Before opening up her own private counseling practice in Flower Mound, Dr. Falbo worked at Cliffside Malibu Rehab in Malibu, CA, inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance abuse facilities at Texas Health Resources, Southern Methodist University’s Family Counseling Center, and Dallas County MHMR. Spending time in London England, Dr. Falbo has worked with children with various intellectual disabilities through ParayHouse School. Dr. Falbo is also an adjunct professor at both Texas Woman’s University and Southern Methodist University, teaching various Undergraduate and Graduate level courses.
Dr. Falbo works with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Dr. Falbo specializes in work with Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, self-esteem, addiction, anger management, self-harm, hoarding and chronic illnesses. Dr. Falbo has a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University, a Masters degree from Southern Methodist University, and a Ph.D. in Family Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. When not working, Dr. Falbo spends her time chasing around her two busy boys!
